today is my first day of being a social worker ... another volunteer work for me ... i and stella have to take care of 2 children ... they come from a problem family , their father was just out from prison and their mother has polio but she still have to work everyday in order to support the family ... the older brother is in sec 2 NA and the younger sister is in sec 1 NT ... basically we need to give them tuition and guide them as well as make sure they r alright both physically and mentally ... we had our first tuition session today , from what i can tell they r rather quiet ... maybe becoz its the first meeting , hope they could get along with us soon ... and i know something quite shocking today , their father was charged of Child Abuse ! they r the victims and the brother still lives in orphanage now ... i think there is a lot of work for us to do and we will try our best to take care of them , coz we work under the government now ... haha nu li

due the the fact that i used too many dark colour blog skins before(actually all my previous skins r dark) and complains from my dear frens that they cant find my tagboard , i decide to change to this new skin ... its quite hard to find a skin i like within one hr , i don quite like this one but at least i don feel uncomfortable with it , so just use it for time being ... until ppl ask me to change a new one :) since its a new skin so i should have some hopes ... i hope there will be less typo errors and spelling mistakes in my entries but it seems quite undesirable ... but anyway , i should open the new shop with photos ... tomolo ... good nitez .

ok firstly for all the Alger, Burgess, Hanssen, Maugham and Nathan ppl , pls ignore this entry ... coz i m going to put all Philbys in cloud nine ! for this one and only time , we deserve all the praises !
In case anyone did not notice , Philby is not a welcomed unit , like what i said , we r the first unit to be isolated ... i think it started in ogl camp , we , philby is the most outstanding clan throughout the orientation , especially in the station games , we won 3 out if 6 station ... ya maybe i m very arrogant , but there is nothing wrong to say that , coz its the fact ! ok we have the biggest attitude , do not follow their rules very closely , and i think its so good , means we r not that obedient , we may seem to be undiscipline , but when the real things came , we can handle it ourselves. we gave the councillors some headache but its mainly attitude problem ... but i think from then onwards the rest of the units start to isolate us ... a particular example will be on fourth day in o1 , eating watermelons ... u know what has hapened ... i don wan to talk abt it ... Maugham and Philby don like each other , thats not a secret, i don believe Burgess and Alger like us either ... so what ? who cares ! it means we r too good ok ? the 13 of us plus ikhsan makes a perfect team and nobody could compete with us ... although there r complains about philby here and there throughout the orientation , let it be ! our Philby has so many excellent j1 members , i m sure most of them will be proud to be a philby ... we r the total game winner , the only prize that cant be changed ... so who is the best unit ? let the truth says !!!
i know i m being very biased in this entry and a lot of ppl want to wrack me up by now , i still have to say this ... we were treated differently in O1, but we overcomed it and feel more bonded with one another ... Philby , u deserve it ... u think i m siao ? then i m siao ... but for those who know what kind of person i m ... u will understand me .

last day of orientation !!! ohh noooooooooooo ....
every ogls started to write cards for their ogs in the morning ... its like a competition , efficient and productive , if i can write my GP essay like this i will own GP man ... afterwards is mass game ... basically use one word to describe --wet ... j1s were wet in almost every stations and we ogls were kenna in the last station in basketball court ... i was wet like hell and somemore its raining ... cold!!! after that we had a short break n we just went to canteen like that ... canteen was wet immediatly ... haha maio sia bought everybody a cup of hot milo ... thank you :) after the break is water war , every units have to protect their own flag while they have to attack other units ... the starting is quite ok but later on the games has "upgraded" and something not nice happened ...... don go into too details ... maybe some other days ... ok after all the games we had dance revision , squad time then preparation time for finale ... before that me and maio sia gave them all the presents we had for our og ... including a postcard with a lot of sweet words written on it and a small goodie bag which consists of different kinds of sweets and a philby sign ... thanks yi ting for making the package ... our og finally bonded together on the last day ... very very bonded ... haha and that is so great !! hui lai ba ... haha ...
And finally the Finale ! every units have their own performance done by the j1s and the highlights is ... of course the Philby performance ... because we got wada !!! who did sole break dance and rock the house down !!! screaming shouting cheering jumping dancing singing laughing ... high high high=finale ! OG 30 gave we three ogls a pioneer polo T shirt each and they wrote all the words they want to say on it ... so touching !!! thank you all guys ... this is one of the most precious presents i have ever received ! before it ended Philby won the overal game winner award ... ikhsan ikhsan go go go !... PHILBY WE ARE THE BEST!!!
Finally it ended ... its time to say goodbye to Pier One , but i really earned a lot in the whole orientation ... especially friends , Philby we really rox !!! i want to thank a lot of ppl but i think the space here is not enough so i will leave it to another day ... i started to miss orientation , miss Philby , miss my OG 30 already ... how ? come on philby sing a song , bum chak bum one clap ... bum bum chak bum two clap ... bum bum chak bum ...............

its the 4th day already ... i was damn high today , especially in the fun dance ... i was jumping from the back of the hall all the way to the front ... haha really enjoyed playing ... ok crashed po chieh's OG this morning and i and kristine acted as two appealed students and acting nude ... but soon we found it was super boring ... coz it was the talks !!! after that the mass ice breaker games r ok , i really played like a j1 students ... then later on all the ogls who wore their secondary school uniform went onto the stage to do forfit ... as planed ... we had to eat water melon without anything tools ... i was wating like nobody's business and they were all shocked ... haha i wan to win man ! ok as i mentioned ytd , the focus today is HANABY ! which consists of hanssen , nathen and philby ... coz maugham . burgess and alger formed HAMBURGER , we have to fight with them ... the bombing is just between HANABY and HAMBURGER , although its quite boring but i think at least all the ogls enjoyed to shout at each other ... and HANABY had their first victory !! we also learned a Hanaby cheer created by Alex ... our ogls still did another round of bombing after the j1s r dismissed ... we just bombed at each other face to face and its like so fun !!! haha i like bombing !!! btw tomolo is jun yuan's bdae so we celebrated it today in unit time ... and he was smashed with a cake ... haha ... and j1 jan-born babies also had their surprise bdae party today ... its like the same thing we planned lor ... firstly get out black face ready , then mr tong will scold j1 and us like siao ... all those "lucky" ones will went up to stage and relearned the dance ... then ya bdae cake ready , once the curtain open , bdae song started ... haha its like the same thing we went through in ogl camp ... guess i shall end here coz tomolo is the fanale and its going to be a long time ... have to get myself ready one last thing

Third day of orientation ... station games !!! ya before that i chose two cheerleaders from my og , and i can say that i made good choices ... jian yun and choon lock was damn responsible and they did their best to lead the cheers ... especially choon lock , although he looked a bit reluctant to be cheerleader but i knew he was acting la ... haha and he end up lead all the cheers ... great job !!! and thanks very much ... ya i think my og did pretty well in the station games today ... i think they really enjoyed the games ... especially the two wet games in the field as well as at the fitness corner ... when they lifted up the pail we kept pouring water at them ... evil people ... haha .. then later they poured back on maio sia and i also cant escape ... the next game all the guys r so brave ! they all took off their shirts so that they can wrap the water bombs and transfer them easily ... u r the men !!! ... ok after the games they looked tired , so in the unit time in LT 2 , when yi ting and skeen taught them the cheers they were not as active as just now ... i can understand it so i didnt force them much ... but end up i feel tired too and only stand at the back of the lt to slack ... there was a little problem today but i guess it has been solved ... hope everybody rest well , we still have two more day to go ... there isnt much time left to enjoy , so pls do ur very best ... whats on monday ? HANNABY !!! we r going to own the rest !!!

ya i m now very busy with orientation ... stay at school over 12 hrs per day just for orientation and even when i go home i still have to do stuff related to o1 ... but i m not complaining , because i enjoyed the process very much ... i become one of the super enthu ogl ... haha ... its second day already , i started to see the bonding within my og , but its like mostly guy with guy and girl with girl , there is not much interection between the two parties ... ya its normal la but i still have do something to improve on it ... tomolo(or should i say later?) will be station games , one of the most interesting part in the whole orientation and also a good chance to bond them together ... OG 30 u cant just sit there and see the show , u have to be as mad as us tomolo ok ? although u wont see this but i hope u can feel me! ya btw we still have to bond the whole Philby together ... lots of work have yet to be done , so Philby , jia you jia you jia you !

Happy New Year !
celebrated new year with my secondary school friends last night ... stella peishan jj cal xyz sw yk jt sb and huiying came late ... as expected . haha ... had BBQ at tekong park . After that we went to Causeway Point to count down , but they decided to go christ church there to play fire crackers ... stella and huiying and me did not want to go so we went to a very special place ... don get me wrong , we went to Admiralty Road West , the nearest place to Malaysia , its like only half a casueway away , can see Malaysia very clearly ... stella say if we can see the sea at 12 o'clock we will be very lucky in the coming yr. when we stepped out of the cab , its just nice to be 12 ! the fireworks in Malaysia just started ... we can see the fireworks very clearly , although its a bit small , but the sound is very loud ... then there r 5 or 6 places which have their own fireworks in Malaysia , so we looked at it for around 2o minutes ... haha its a very special exprience , not only due to the fireworks , but spending new year with two of my best friends , thank you ! all the best for the new year and good luck to all !;)
